Trifecta is a national meal delivery service that sends fully cooked, macro-balanced meals each week; nothing to cook, just reheat. Its site title calls it "The #1 Fitness Meal Delivery Service," and it says that "While we feed some of the top athletes in the world, Trifecta delivery can support any healthy lifestyle - even if you aren't able to exercise." Meals arrive chilled "in a temperature-controlled box," and the company pairs them with a companion app and free nutrition coaching. If you track macros and want consistent, clearly labelled meals delivered anywhere in the US, Trifecta is one of the most complete options.
How ordering works
You pick a plan, then either let the chefs choose or pick your own meals. Plans include the Clean Meal Plan ("simply made meals high in quality protein, veggies, and whole grains"), High Protein Vegetarian, Keto, Paleo ("dairy-free and grain-free"), Whole30 Friendly and High Protein Vegan. There's also a Meal Prep option, where the company cooks proteins, veggies and carbs separately and you "Assemble your meals for half the time and price," and a Signature Meals option for choosing dish by dish.
The FAQ recommends Chef's Choice for anyone worried about variety: "you get something new every week, and you can set up to 2 exclusions so you never get something you don't like." Otherwise, select My Choice and pick meals after checkout. It's a weekly subscription with "no commitments or contracts," and you can skip weeks or update your plan from your account. To pause or cancel, the FAQ asks you to contact customer success "a week in advance of your delivery."
What it costs
Trifecta publishes plan prices. The Clean Meal Plan is "$110.99 / week," the High Protein Vegetarian Meal Plan "$104.93 / week," and Meal Prep "$119 / week." Shipping is "a flat $12.99 shipping fee to all states excluding Alaska and Hawaii, which have a $49.99 shipping fee due to additional travel costs," and some states add sales tax. The company also notes that any discount is an introductory offer on a customer's first subscription, for carts up to a maximum of $311, so a first-box discount, where offered, is separate from those weekly prices.
There's a first-order guarantee: "a 100% money-back guarantee on your first order for up to 7 meals or $99 of meal prep food," if you contact the company within 10 days of delivery.
The food itself
The company says "All of our plans are low calorie, high protein, and range from moderate to low carb," averaging "350 to 500 calories and over 20 to 40g of protein per dish," with macros printed on the front and back of every label. On sourcing: "We use organic ingredients and all protein is level-5 humanely raised, grass-fed, and wild-caught," and meals are made with "grass-fed protein, free range chicken, sustainably caught seafood, and organic produce." The company says its chefs use only gluten-free ingredients, and that it can accommodate "soy free, dairy free, peanut free, and meat free options."
Meals are "prepared by hand in one of our state-of-the-art regional kitchens," then "deep chilled using IQF technology." They arrive vacuum-sealed and last "between 6 and 10 days in the fridge, and over 3 months in the freezer," though the company recommends refrigerating rather than freezing for taste. You can reheat them "on the stovetop, or in the oven, air fryer, or microwave." The menu is seasonal and changes often, with "new recipes every week," and there's a Breakfasts section in the navigation. The company says its recipes "are created by credentialed experts," and that heating takes about "two minutes."
Trifecta also leans on health messaging. The app is described as "a fully developed weight loss program," and the site features customer stories such as a customer who lost 70 pounds on keto. Those are the company's framing and customers' accounts; its line "We aren't in the business of bro science" is its own promise, too. The homepage also ties the brand to the Netflix documentary series "You Are What You Eat," saying participants "experienced remarkable transformations after just weeks of enjoying Trifecta meals," and it cites a 4.6 rating "from 1.5k+ Google Reviews." The app promises "the precise daily amounts of protein, carbs, and fat you need," and the company says an accountability partner "can increase your chances of success by up to 95%." All of that is marketing; the food itself, with its published macros and sourcing, is the more concrete part of the offer.
Who it reaches
"Trifecta delivers everywhere in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii," with the higher shipping fee for those 2 states. "Your delivery will arrive on Friday or Saturday" each week. The company also claims "zero food waste," saying it sources only the ingredients it needs and that leftover meals go to Feeding America. It says its boxes and packaging are "98% biodegradable," with insulation made from plant-based components and paper.
What the site leaves open, and who it suits
The FAQ is thorough, but a few things are left to checkout: the exact weekly meal count behind each plan price, and the size of any first-order discount. The meal plans page does print a price beside every plan: Keto, Paleo and Whole30 are each "$110.99 / week," matching the Clean Meal Plan, and the High Protein Vegan Meal Plan is "$104.93 / week," the same rate as High Protein Vegetarian.
Trifecta suits macro-trackers, athletes and anyone who wants clean, clearly labelled meals anywhere in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. The range of plans, including vegetarian, vegan, paleo and Whole30, is broader than most fitness-focused services, and the free coaching and app are genuine extras. Customers can also join a Trifecta Facebook group and use the company's free nutrition tools and videos. Support runs by live chat from 8 to 5 Pacific, by phone at 530-564-8388 and by email, and the footer lists HSA/FSA among its pages. It suits less well someone who wants to cancel online in an instant, since pausing or cancelling goes through customer success a week ahead, or anyone who wants to avoid a separate shipping charge.
